Individual entry criteria - Corporate Treasurers and other finance professionals years of experience from 0-5 years (Associate Membership Category), 6-12 years (Member membership Category), 15 years and above (Fellow membership Category).

The Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN) organises structured conferences, executive forums, and professional training programmes designed to enhance treasury competence, strengthen governance standards, and promote best practices within Nigeria’s corporate finance ecosystem.
ACTN encourages practicing treasurers to possess: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines. Recognized professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent finance certifications. ACTN is about finalizing collaboration with Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) & the University of Lagos (Unilag) on the development of the Certified Corporate Treasurer (CCT) Programme, a structured hybrid programme designed to professionalize treasury practice in Nigeria.
Quarterly governing council meetings, various committee reports are reviewed, approved and resolutions are passed. Location of meetings in-person at the secretariat and online. Subjects vary – 2026 Economic Outlook for corporate treasurers, Women in Treasury: Leading with Purpose, Resilience, and Influence, Treasury in the Age of Intelligence: AI, Automation & Analytics for Strategic Advantage etc.
ACTN is a registered professional association in Nigeria, governed by its Constitution and overseen by an elected Governing Council. The association operates in compliance with applicable Nigerian laws and regulatory requirements.
