AFT-UEMOA (Association Professionnelle des Financiers et Trésoriers de Etats de l’UEMOA) integrates Treasurers and all professionals in the area of finance belonging to both companies and public entities. Actually it has 50 members, all companies.

• Active members of the Association are individuals who perform their duties in the Finance or Treasury of companies and public bodies. They enjoy any rights of any activities and organs of the Association.
• The associates are those legal persons interested in the Treasury Management, and generally are financial and software providers, consultants ... They appoint a person to represent them, but have no voting rights.
• Honor Members: are interested in the activities of Financial Management and Treasury but are not professionals involved in the financial departments of the company. These members may participate in activities and render services.

The association offers:

Workshops: sessions in which a speaker presents an issue of financial management and to allow discussion among attendees (10-30 participants).

Forums, Symposia: meetings with the highest participation (50 participants) in which a topic of relevance is discussed, in a panel or through individual presentations, by various specialists.

Seminars: specialized sessions daylong (15-20 participants) in which a teacher addresses a theme about the day to day financial management and treasury business.

Documentation Service: created to supply publications, books, documents...

Technical Commissions: retail payments, management control, fraud, ethics in business, international taxation.

The board currently has 10 members who are elected by the General Assembly for a period of three years.

The Treasury and Finance Conference, held each year, brings together numerous professionals and renowned speakers to address topical issues related to the overall economy and finance or treasury in particular.
