Notes:

Technical committees are AFTE's primary activity. These committees are forums concerning treasury management and corporate finance as well as sharing companies' knowledge and expertise.


Association Membership:

In 2020, AFTE has over 1,500 members representing more than 1,000 companies, from large multinational CAC40 companies to small and medium sized enterprises, active in virtually all industries.

Members are overwhelmingly corporate treasurers and finance managers and the association also welcomes bankers, consultants and students.

Membership Criteria:

In order to be eligible for membership, members must be

  • corporate treasurers or finance managers at non-financial companies
  • bankers, consultants, IT solutions suppliers
  • students in finance
Education and Training:

AFTE training centre is a leading place of continuous learning for corporate treasurers or consultants and bankers in search of operational expertise in treasury management and financial markets.

57 technical training courses at the cutting edge of practices led by experts recognized by their peers are proposed, as well as several soft skills trainings.

Representation of corporate treasurers
AFTE has always been an active partner in the development of Paris as a financial centre. As such, AFTE sits on numerous institutional boards and committees.

AFTE has also been a founding member of the International Group of Treasury Associations (IGTA) in 1996 and of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) in 2002.

There are 15 board members, who elected for 3 years, without limitation. The Chairman is elected each year by the board, without limitation.

Annual Conference:

The annual, 2-day “Journées de l’AFTE” is the Association’s flagship event in Paris and gathers over 1,400 participants and more than 80 banking partners and service providers.
This annual meeting is a unique opportunity for all professionals working in treasury and finance to discuss and keep up to date on all major subjects through plenary sessions and interactive workshops.
